About me
Hi, I am Amala - UX Designer and an Architect seeking opportunities to extend my knowledge in design space.
I was born and raised in Kerala, India. I found love in the creative careers at my young age but I wasn't having an idea on where to start that can be both enjoyable and creative at the same time.
When I switched to the UX field, my previous experience as an architect came in really handy. My background in architecture gave me a strong foundation in user research and design thinking and also taught me how to manage projects effectively and meet (impossible) deadlines. This experience will be invaluable in my current role as a UX designer. With a strong passion for Human-Centered Design, I strive to create functional as well as aesthetically pleasing designs.
In Life
When I'm not working on designs, you can find me sleeping, spending time with my family, friends or you can usually find me when you hear someone laughing in a hilarious way – " I’m the one doing the laughing!" I love travelling and good food. I also enjoy painting and playing violin (very badly).
My goal is to be always happy. And if that means being a little weird, then so be it !
