About me

Hi, I’m Amala, a Product Designer based in Ontario, Canada.

I design products that make complex work simple. Over the past 3 years, I've built CRM systems for construction teams, redesigned delivery apps for 500K+ riders across India, and launched platforms from scratch. My approach? Talk to real users, understand their actual problems, then design solutions that genuinely help.

I started in Architecture, which taught me to think systemically and design through constraints. These days, I've swapped floor plans for user flows and building codes for design systems but the core stays the same: understand the problem deeply, iterate relentlessly, and make things that work.

Some recent work:

  • Launched Aeternum's platform from concept to Alpha as sole designer

  • Designed delivery workflows for 500K+ users

  • Built CRM systems from scratch for construction teams

  • Created collision analysis software analysing 1000+ points.

When I'm not designing, I'm the person with the contagious laugh, the kind that makes everyone else start laughing too. (Yes, people have asked to record it for ringtones.) I paint when inspiration strikes, plan my next travel adventure, and am always down for discovering great food with people I love.

I'm drawn to work that matters, where good design creates real impact. If you're working on something meaningful, let's talk.
